* As a participating institution in the FDIC's TAG (Transaction Account Guarantee) Program,
funds held in non-interest bearing transaction accounts (checking accounts) will be fully
insured, regardless of the amount in the account, until December 31, 2010. (Go to our
FDIC Insurance Coverage page
for more information on all account coverage limits.)
Checking Accounts
You can choose from five kinds of personal checking accounts. Be sure to ask
about overdraft protection for your account.
- Platinum Checking
Platinum Checking is our new tiered high interest rate checking account that pays interest on balances of $3,000 or more. (Click here for rates)
- Eagle NOW Checking. A NOW
is a checking account that pays interest. If you keep a minimum
daily balance
of $1,000 in your account, there's no maintenance
fee. (Click here for rates)
- Eagle Regular Checking *
Just $100 opens an account.
If you keep a minimum daily balance of $100 in your account, there's
no maintenance fee. (If you don't,
the fee is $7.00.)
- Eagle 50 Plus Checking *. If you're 50 or over,
there is no monthly maintenance
fee for
your checking account.
- Eagle Direct Checking * No monthly maintenance fee for each statement cycle in which we receive a direct deposit to your account. Otherwise, a $5.00 monthly maintenance fee applies.
MasterMoney™ Debit Card
If you qualify, you can add a MasterMoney debit card to your checking
account. It looks like a MasterCard® credit card, but it actually
makes purchases directly from your checking account. There is no annual
fee and no charge
to use the card.
Internet Banking
Eaglenet Banking lets you access your checking, savings and loan accounts
online. You can check your balance, make loan payments and make transfers
between accounts
with this secure service 24 hours a day. And there's no charge for the
service.
Telephone Banking
If you're not near a computer, you can still get account, CD and loan
information through our 24-hour automated telephone service. There's
no charge for
the service, and "Ask Jamie" is much more personable and
user-friendly than most automated phone services.
Courtesy Overdraft Privilege
Anybody can make a checkbook error.
But there’s nothing more embarrassing
than bouncing a check. It can even hurt
your credit rating.
That’s why Eagle National Bank offers good
customers our Courtesy Overdraft Privilege.
Here’s how it works.
- When your checking account has been established
for a sufficient period of time, we will automatically
establish your Courtesy Overdraft Privilege.
- If you accidentally overdraw your account, we
will pay any checks that are presented, up to the
amount of your pre-set limit, less a per-check
overdraft fee.
- The Amount of Courtesy Overdraft Privilege
will be shown in your available balance at ATM
machines and may be available to you for ATM
cash withdrawals and when you use your check
card for purchases at retail merchants, as well as
for checks and ACH transactions. The balance
shown on the Internet and given to you on our
Telephone Banking system will not include the
Overdraft Privilege Amount.
Courtesy Overdraft Privilege isn’t a line of credit.
It’s simply what it says it is: a courtesy to save
embarrassment for our customers in good standing.
For full details or to opt out, call 610-853-4805
or visit the nearest Eagle National Bank branch.
Courtesy Overdraft Privilege is a courtesy and a privilege. Eagle National Bank
will have the discretion to pay overdrafts on accounts in good standing. Any
such payment is a discretionary courtesy, and not a right of the Customer or
an obligation of Eagle National Bank. Eagle National Bank, in its sole and absolute discretion, can
cease paying overdrafts at any time without prior notice of reason or cause.
The per-check fee for each item covered by our Courtesy Overdraft Privilege
is the same amount we would charge if we returned the check for insufficient
funds. See branch for details and fee schedule.
